Thank you xSemaphoreCreateBinaryPosted by rtel on December 15, 2013 Which version of FreeRTOS are you using? xSemaphoreCreateBinary() was only introduced in V7.6.0, prior to that the vSemaphoreCreateBinary() macro was used (note the 'v' prefix). xSemaphoreCreateBinary() was introduced to ensure the calling semantics were the same for all semaphore functions.
