How to get the timer's remaining durationPosted by Doini on December 21, 2012 Hello, I use the software timers functions, but I did not find a function to show me how many ticks the timer has remained until reaches '0'. When a timer is set its expire time is calculated, and the timer callback called when the expire time is reached. Nothing in the timer changes between its expire time being set and it expiring - nothing counts down to zero or anything like that (that would be extremely inefficient). Therefore, to do what you want, you would have to add a function that gets the expire time, and then compare it to the current time - which is easy enough - but then also account for timer overflows - which is no so easy.
